WHAT WE OFFER

African Spiral offers a full spectrum travel service including booking flights, accommodation, transfers, car hire, guides and excursions.

Our travel specialists have all travelled extensively throughout the regions of Southern & Eastern Africa and have carefully sought out the most unique properties and experiences in each region to share with you.

But we do more than that… we hold your hand with you all the way, helping with the planning stage, ensuring that all the details have been covered, staying in touch through the journey and following up afterwards.

We are available to our clients 24 hours during their travel and assist with restaurant bookings, chatting through options for the day and sharing in the excitement along the way.

MEET NICKI DELMULLE

African Spiral is a South African ‘owner-managed’ company, founded by Nicki Delmulle.
Her passion for Southern Africa comes through in all her itineraries as well as her personal desire to make sure that each client goes home in awe of our beautiful country, its people and culture and with a deep seated desire to return again to experience more.

After completing her studies at the University of Cape Town where she qualified with a B.Social Science degree in 1989 the dream to travel became a reality. After spending 5 years travelling in Europe she came back to South Africa to implement her knowledge in the travel industry.

Nicki has over 20 years travel experience behind her, having worked in large travel corporations managing the tours divisions and product development within Africa. She started African Spiral in 1996 with the desire to start something smaller and more personalised and being able to carefully pick the smaller boutique properties she wanted to work with.

Nicki’s philosophy and emphatic belief (which has become the basis to the service she provides) is that each property should offer an experience, not just a bed, and searches for this personal quality in all establishments she deals with.
